At the heart of the Defy Classic is Zenith's Elite 670 SK automatic movement. Operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4Hz), the movement provides approximately 50 hours of power reserve and displays hours, minutes, seconds, and the date. The movement can also be admired through the transparent sapphire caseback.

The watch is completed by a black rubber strap paired with a black DLC-coated titanium folding clasp, giving the Defy Classic a sporty and extremely comfortable fit.
